Private Behavior consultations
Do you catch yourself saying “I just don’t know why he’s doing that?!” or “I’ve tried everything I can think of, but I can’t stop this behavior!” and you feel like you are at your wits end? Don’t fret! I am here to help you and your dog(s).
Most of the time the true issue is the communication between us and our dogs. What our dog is telling us, is not necessarily what we think it is saying. I could speak in German to you and make some wild gestures, you wouldn’t understand what it means, but you will try to make sense of it, right? Believe me when I say I know exactly how that feels.
I had a lot of trouble as a foreign exchange student, because I simply couldn’t understand what people wanted from me. Over time I learned to understand better, because some extraordinary people took the time and explained everything from a different point of view to help me open my mind. You can view your dogs behavior in the same light – your dog doesn’t speak English and we just don’t speak dog.
However, I have the ability to be your translator and help you understand each other better than before. Most dogs end up in a shelter, because of “behavior issues” and most of these issues are due to the lack of understanding between you and your dog!

In-home behavior consultation
$110/h Private consultations are typically done at your home and with your whole family present (or at least all members responsible for the dog). We observe, demonstrate and discuss the issues you’re having with your dog(s). I will also take a look at your typical flow of interaction with your dog and based on the observations made I will suggest ways to improve your communication and interaction with your dog. It’s a session filled with tons of information. Let me be your translator and make your life better with your dog. |
In-home puppy consultation
$100/h - up to 6 months of age If you are getting a puppy you should be well prepared for the needs of your new family member. A sad statistic is that 25% of puppies are given up before they reach a year old. Why? Most of the time it’s due to the fact that people don’t take the time to understand how to care for a puppy. This session will be filled with a great amount of information on what to do and what not to do when bringing your new puppy home. We will discuss your current routine and I will make suggestions on how to improve that routine to help you and your puppy. |
